Where required, the above tests can be carried out to evaluate the effectiveness of treatment with lime, cement, bitumen or other polymer additives.

While NATA Accreditation has not yet been sought, EMC can carry out various other testing in accordance with the applicable Standards, including:

  •  Shrink / Swell Index (AS1289.7.1.1)
  •  Lime Saturation Point (RC 131.01)
  •  Durability of Road Materials (T133)
  •  Capillary Rise and Absorption (T172)
  •  Oversize PSD (in-house method)

In addition, EMC have proprietary, in-house equipment for assessing the relative erodibility of soils.
